If you possess over 2 years experience in the Concierge division of the hotel industry and pride yourself on welcoming clientele, then you will fit right in to our clients fast paced and professional Concierge and Front Office team. With a background in the Hospitality industry, as a Porter you are expected to display a passion for customer service, assisting our team in making our guests feel like they are the only guest!
As Head Porter you will possess: – 3 years experience within Concierge or Porter duties looking to take the next step. – professional customer service oriented outlook – hospitality experience – Thorough knowledge of the local area or the determination to explore the area. – Current NT License – H endorsement and a light Right license are desirable but not essential – The ability to work a rotating 24 hour, 7 day a week roster is required (night shifts usually not required) – Excellent leadership skills and abilities. – polished presentation and exceptional communication skills – friendly, level headed, “can do” attitude and enthusiastic team player – ability to work shift work / evenings or weekends – experienced in dealing with guest luggage FIT and Groups – Supervisor and motivate on duty staff daily
